Mark Foxworth, in collaboration with architect Nathan Smith of PART-Studio, designed and fabricated this laser cut wood curtain for a gallery installation in the main lobby of the newly opened GE First Build facility. IDEAS Louisville organized the gallery exhibition as a part of First Build's grand opening.  The Peek-a-boo curtain is fabricated from 98 individually laser cut 1/8" plywood tiles bound together with zip-ties.  The hole pattern, arranged in eye-like pairs, provides varying degrees of transparency and opacity altering the degree of visual connection and separation.
