The Green Machine is a bicycle station comprised of modular steel frame units each of which occupy a single automobile parking space. The Modular units allow for multiple configurations and scales of stations throughout an urban metropolis (Berlin shown). Programmatic elements include: bicycle repair and maintenance, storage, restrooms, changing rooms, cafe/concessions. Environmental features include photo-voltaic roofs, operable windows, sun-shades, storm water collection, recycled rubber wall panels, reclaimed wood floors.
